Manchester United are not dependent on Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Throughout this season, there has been a feeling that United have become dependent on their Swedish centre forward for goals. Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and co. have all filled in at times but none have really filled the void left by the powerful and experienced striker.
Rashford, in particular, has struggled, only scoring his first Premier League goal since October against Sunderland last weekend, but on Sunday he showed his worth. With his movement and pace offering a different option, he showed why he deserved to start ahead of the 35-year-old.
The England international was a thorn in the side of the Chelsea defence throughout and whilst Ibrahimovic was introduced in the closing stages, his presence was a luxury as they saw the game out having previously failed to produce without their talisman against far weaker opposition.
