Ivan Perisic – Inter Milan

Marc Albrighton was excellent last season, but there are some doubts about whether he has the ability to sustain such form, especially against much better opposition in the Champions League.

Another option on the left wing could be the underrated weapon in the Croatian attack is Ivan Perisic.

The winger has experience at the top of the European game, and would add a directness to the Leicester attacking line up.

He is a constant danger to the goal, as shown by his return of seven goals and six assists for Inter Milan is impressive.

If Leicester do opt to field a three man midfield in the Champions League, as looks like a possibility given the players they have been linked to, it will allow them to play a more attacking winger on the left to help Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez in attack.

Persic would be a smart buy and he wouldn’t cost that much.

He would also not demand Champions League football in the future, and Leicester need to be careful not to buy players of that profile, as it will be a tough ask to repeat last season’s heroics.
