Three stand-out performers Arsenal should target from Euro 2016

Jonas Hector

Another German defender but one who has risen to stardom only this past season as form for club Cologne, along with a first competitive international start in November 2015, has seen him being linked with moves all over Europe.

The left-back has a lot of speed but also possesses a real physical presence, which Arsenal have struggled with – as Kieran Gibbs and Monreal have done little to stake their claim as top full-backs.

Hector can also provide goals and assists as he likes to get forward, much like Hector Bellerin,  and has the ability to play central defence when required too.

Targeting these three players would make Arsenal a real forced to be reckoned with as they have an abundance of technical ability in the final third of the pitch and with a top striker that may all be unleashed.

As for the defensive areas, Wenger has struggled for leadership and steel and has already gone some way to changing that by signing Granit Xhaka. Nonetheless, with the addition of a top quality central defender and left back, Arsenal’s starting 11 would look extremely balanced.
