After every Premier League season ends and Arsenal snatch their usual position inside the top four, Arsene Wenger’s men are consistently labelled as the ‘nearly men’ and are described by the media as being one or two players away from having a really good side.

Despite recent acquisitions of players such as Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Petr Cech, Arsenal don’t seem to be able to make the leap and win their first Premier League title in over 10 years.
