Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Borussia Dortmund

It might be a long shot for Man City, but the thought of seeing Aubameyang partnering Aguero is one that every neutral surely wants to see. Aubameyang scored 25 goals last season, finishing only behind Lewandowski in the goal-scoring tally, while Aguero struck 24 times and finished behind Harry Kane.

The 27-year-old has been linked all summer with Man City, with reports at one stage suggesting that Dortmund and City were in advanced negotiations. It could be a very expensive deal, but if it was to happen the Premier League would be blessed with one massively exciting strike force.

Surely, Aubameyang would start. In that case, City could develop a formation that allows two up-front, something that Pep is not renowned for. That is of course unless Aubameyang played in a wider role. It could cause problems with the formation, but the goals and pace of the strike-force would surely be a risk worth taking, and coul fire City into the position title winners at the end of next season.
