Yannick Bolasie
Crystal Palace’s star man has already been linked with a £20 million move to the Premier League champions since the weekend, and it is clear to see why. Yannick Bolasie is an exceptionally hard worker and loves to maraud up and down the left touch-line with high intensity sprints. In some ways, the Congolese international is in the mould of Jeff Schlupp, except with the added bonus of having a fabulous amount of skill at his disposal, and often a more reliable end product.
As valuable as Marc Albrighton’s contributions have been for Leicester City this season, The Foxes will need an extra sprinkling of quality in their ranks as opposed to relying almost completely on endeavour alone. Bolasie has the ability to beat a man at ease and has a penchant for producing the spectacular – something which may well earn The Foxes some vital points in tight matches during the next campaign.
Yannick Bolasie has frequently been linked away from Selhurst Park in the last couple of seasons in particular but thus far, the South London club have been able to maintain his services. It is unknown what scale of fee would be required to prise him away from Alan Pardew at Palace, but £20 million is potentially a little short of the mark. The attraction of a move to the Premier League champions may well be enough to turn Bolasie’s head, making Crystal Palace’s reluctant position difficult to maintain.
