Three signings Bristol City should make this summer to continue their progression

Daniel Crowley:

Daniel Crowley is an 18-year-old midfielder currently at Arsenal. He may not be known to Bristol City, but he is to Lee Johnson, who signed him on loan for Barnsley in 2015. At the time, Johnson described Crowley as ‘the most talented 18-year-old he had ever seen’.

Crowley is an exciting youngster and operates as a creative midfielder – something which would benefit City’s top scorer Jonathan Kodjia. In the first half of last season Kodjia didn’t receive too much in the way of service and had to fashion goal scoring chances himself.

Whilst this has improved under Johnson and the form of Bobby Reid, City could do with another magician to unlock Championship defences. Daniel Crowley would provide stiff competition for Bobby Reid, and likely improve both players.
