Three reasons why Manchester City remain Premier league favourites

With every passing season there is always a plucky underdog and a firm bookies favourite and this year is no different. 2015-16 was expected to be a tug-of-war between the Premier League title holders Chelsea and many punter’s favourite Manchester City. There have already been surprises at the half way point with Leicester City still in strong contention and sitting in second, just two points behind Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side.

Manchester City, much like the league leaders Arsenal and an uninspiring Manchester United side have been inconsistent and have suffered some baffling defeats. Pellegrini’s side have suffered five league defeats already this season including three in their last ten games. Despite this, it would not be a surprise if come May we are all witnessing club captain Vincent Kompany lift more silverware for “The Citizens” and here is why.
