AC Milan
Whilst there is no clear sign of interest from Milan in the striker, such a move would make perfect sense with Carlos Bacca likely to leave in the summer and Perez’s agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has talked up a move as he told Calciomercato:
“Milan is a great team and he likes them a lot, even though we’ve never spoken with the Rossoneri’s directors.”
With a strong Spanish contingent including former Liverpool midfielder Suso, a move to the San Siro could prove an attractive proposition. Should Bacca move on as expected, he would most likely go into the side as the first choice striker, as he enjoyed so much at Deportivo A Coruna, where he thrived in the role of the main man.
The only concern for Perez could be the club’s current form, with the team currently sitting in seventh in Serie A with a lack of European football next season a danger again with a Champions League place even more unlikely. Losing that status as an elite-level player could prove difficult to take, but fewer other sides will be interested who can offer him that immediately, and Milan are in a good position to get there eventually.
