Liverpool are sitting pretty at the top end of the Premier League but have often suffered a loss of form in January in recent years, something that Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to avoid happening again in 2019.
In order to achieve that, he’ll need to rely upon all of the depth available in his squad in order to rotate and rest some tired legs, which may give first team debuts to some players.
Ki-Jana Hoever
Signed from Ajax in September, the 16-year-old has already joined the first team for training after his impressive displays for the under 18s and under 23s.
It looks as though he may soon surpass Nathaniel Clyne as second choice right-back behind Trent Alexander-Arnold and a debut could only be a matter of time.

Adam Lewis
An offensive minded left-back and captain of the under 23s, many have tipped Lewis to follow in the footsteps of Alexander-Arnold in being the next local boy to make the breakthrough.
With Alberto Moreno looking likely to leave in the summer, Lewis may be given a run out as an alternative to Andrew Robertson as he looks to continue his development.
Bobby Duncan
The cousin of Steven Gerrard, Duncan joined from Manchester City in the summer and has been unstoppable since, scoring 15 goals in 18 games for the under 18s and making a strong first impression.
Liverpool have plenty of options in attack but a summer clear out could open the door to new opportunities for the 17-year-old as he moves up the pecking order.
