Three players West Ham could have signed with Andriy Yarmolenko millions - Including Adama Traore
West Ham United made some eye-catching transfers this summer, including that of Ukrainian winger Andriy Yarmolenko. West Ham paid a reported £17 million to bring him in from Borussia Dortmund. They are also said to be paying him £100,000-a-week, according to The Times.
But West Ham have not yet seen anything like his best. His struggles continued during the international break, with sluggish performances for his nation that were criticised back home.
West Ham, may have brought a player past his sell-by date.

Hopefully, that is not the case. But when considering what West Ham could have signed with the same amount of money and questions must be asked.
For example, Wolverhampton Wanderers paid just £1 million more to bring in Adama Traore. Considering he would be on less wages, it would work out around the same.
West Ham know all about his excellence. They witness first-hand what he can do as he netted a last-minute winner at the London Stadium earlier this month.

For a lot less, they could have got their hands on a definite cult icon. Xherdan Shaqiri would have been a star with the West Ham fans. Instead, he headed to Liverpool for £13 million to, essentially, be a squad player.
If West Ham looked even further afield, then they could have got their hands on Justin Kluivert. The son of Dutch legend Patrick joined AS Roma from Ajax this summer for just €17 million (£15 million).
All three are younger and perhaps better options than Yarmolenko, suggesting West Ham could have got more bang for their buck this summer.
