Javier Hernandez – Bayer Leverkusen

Understood to have emerged as the club’s top target up front, The Sun, who reflect on a report published by Mexican outlet Publimetro, say that club bosses are even prepared to make him their highest paid player with an impressive £145,000 per week contract in order to persuade him to move to London.

The former Manchester United goalscorer has shown his ability to reliably score goals in any league, and has proven himself in the Premier League during his stint at Old Trafford. With the Irons looking for a player who can do exactly that with Premier League experience, he is one of the best options on the market.

Signing Hernandez would represent the kind of investment that many fans were expecting when they moved to their new home at the London Stadium, and he, more than anyone else, could help to push them on to the next level.
