Skill, not just pace

Aaron Lennon can provide any team with blistering pace, just like out-of-favour Toffees winger, Aiden McGeady was able to do.

However, the defensive wall that weaker teams set up means that pure pace can’t also break down 11 mean in the area.

It can take a touch of class to unlock the door, whether that a dangerous ball into the area or a shot from distance.

Arnautovic can provide those dangerous balls from the flanks but also has the technical ability and strength to beat players.

Based on the cut price that Arnautovic could very well be available at due to his contract situation, it would be a wise move by Koeman.
