A return of 12 goals in the Premier League for a winger is definitely something to admire and will be an aspect of Arnautovic’s game that will appeal to Koeman.

The Austrian winger scored the same amount of goals as Lennon, Mirallas, Deulofeu and Pienaar combined in the league last season.

Signing the 27-year-old would make the Toffees more of a threat going forward and would also take some of the reliance off Ross Barkley who managed eight goals and a further eight assists during the 2015/16 Season.

Prices for goal-scoring wingers are extremely inflated across Europe and so with Arnautovic’s contract having just one year remaining, Everton should be able to secure a reasonable price.
