Chelsea have had a strong hold over Spurs at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League era, and are unbeaten in 29 matches against their opponents at home.

This run stretches back to February 1990, meaning that only six of Tottenham’s 23 Premier League players from this season were born the last time their team won at the Bridge.

They are Hugo Lloris, Michel Vorm, Jan Vergtonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Moussa Sissoko and Moussa Dembele. Spurs’ young squad will have to make history.
