Three keys statistics ahead of the Chelsea vs Tottenham

Another exciting Premier League weekend awaits and the pick of the fixtures takes place at Stamford Bridge, where leaders Chelsea host unbeaten Tottenham.

Spurs are on a low after their midweek Champions League exit, but Chelsea have won six on the spin without conceding a goal and don’t look like slowing down any time soon.

This match was a feisty 2-2 draw last season, a result which ended Spurs’ title challenge. With a win tomorrow, the lilywhites will be back to within a point of Chelsea and back in the mix. There’s a fair amount riding on this one too.

Here are three key stats ahead of the game:

People laughed when Chelsea bought David Luiz back from Paris Saint Germain, but the crazy-haired Brazilian is proving to be an excellent acquisition.

The Blues’ back three have not conceded for six games, and have only allowed their opponents two shots on target in the last three matches, with Luiz putting in some stellar displays.

Spurs will have real trouble breaking them down.
