Arsenal had just one shot on target, and they scored it
Chances were few and far between for the Gunners, despite going into the tie as favourites. That didn’t stop Olivier Giroud when he got his chance though as his powerful header found the back of the net with the only attempt on target that his team had all afternoon.
No other player has scored more goals as a sub this season, and he was the first to score for Arsene Wenger against Jose Mourinho since Gilberto Silva in 2007, with his strike being enough to earn Arsenal a point and keep them in touch at the top of the table.
