This will be the seventh Merseyside derby in the Premier League to be played on a Monday night, and results suggest that it may give Everton a good chance of pulling off the win.

Of the previous six that have been played on a Monday night, Everton have only been beaten once, winning three and drawing the other two.

If the atmosphere at Goodison is as fearsome as it can be, this record could be extended further.
