3 – Chelsea close on Arsenal’s record

Chelsea’s record of 11 straight Premier League wins is mightily impressive, but they are still three wins short of the all-time record in English football.

Back in 2002, Arsenal racked up 14 straight wins, 13 at the back end of 2001/02 and an opening day win in 2002/03 to set a record that has yet to be beaten.

If Chelsea have a good Christmas period, we could see them draw level by the time we reach 2017.
