Mark Hughes’ Stoke travelled to Anfield in midweek, a ground where the manager had not recorded a league victory in his managerial career. For the second time in a week, Hughes will travel to a ground where he has never won.

In 10 previous visits to Stamford Bridge as a manager, the former Chelsea player has only managed to engineer two points for Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, QPR and Stoke, losing on eight other occasions.

He did manage to nick a point at the Bridge last campaign, but the odds are against Stoke causing an upset.
