Tottenham Hotspur fans have been given a further glimpse of the sort of potential Bryan Gil possesses as he produced another impressive performance for Valencia in their clash with Barcelona on Sunday.
Gil has taken little time to make an impact with Los Che. Reports previously claimed that Valencia already want to keep him beyond his current loan spell.

In fact, he has already been labelled their ‘most outstanding footballer‘. So Spurs fans would have been forgiven for keeping one eye on Valencia’s clash with Barcelona on Sunday.
Unfortunately, it proved to be a nightmare occasion for Jose Bordalas. They lost 4-1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice for the visitors inside the Mestalla.

However, Gil proved to be a shining light for Valencia. He produced an outrageous cross to help hand the home side a lifeline at the start of the second-half.
It was the 21-year-old’s first assist for the club. And it was a moment of real quality from the Tottenham loanee.
Interestingly, his statistics from Whoscored would suggest that it was an impressive all-round display from Gil.
He made three tackles – only two players managed more. Meanwhile, he made more key passes than any other player on the pitch, with three.
That is a remarkable return considering the result, and the fact he only completed 14 passes in total.
Bryan Gil helping Tottenham keep options open ahead of this summer with another impressive Valencia display
Clearly, Tottenham are not currently kicking themselves over loaning Gil to Valencia. They went into Sunday celebrating a famous win over Manchester City in the Premier League.
But at times, Tottenham may end up missing Gil. That will be the case if his performances are a sign of what is to come.
The good news is Gil’s start may help Tottenham keep their options open ahead of the summer.
Should he return to North London, he will have some new-found confidence. And if Spurs decide to let him go, his value should be much higher.
