Craig Gardner goal – 63 minutes
Starting the second-half positively as they had the first, Birmingham got their deserved goal through Craig Gardner shortly past the hour mark.
Only moments after the introduction of Lukas Jutkiewicz, the home side recycled possession through Ryan Shotton, who recovered well from completely missing both the ball and opportunity to cross.
Cheick Keita made himself available to receive the ball, quickly launching it into the area. Leeds’ attempted two clearances before Gardner’s strike, from outside the box, curled past everyone into the bottom left corner.
There was a degree of fortune with the goal, as a slight deflection off Stuart Dallas aided the ball’s movement. But it was well hit from the Blues’ midfielder, and the equaliser was certainly deserved.
