Wood broke from the box with possession, finding Hadi Sacko to his left. After a promising surge forwards, Sacko had time to play in Woods, who ran from box-to-box in an effort to remain available.

If the pass had arrived, Woods certainly could have tested Keiren Westwood in the Wednesday goal. Given the form he is in, it is fair to say he would probably have scored. Woods was understandably furious when Sacko instead ran the ball out, conceding a goal-kick.
