Everton travelling to St. Mary’s sees the return of former Saints manager Ronald Koeman, just months after he left to head north to Liverpool. The second scouse outfit to pitch up on the banks of the Itchen in the space of just over a week, pits (currently) 7^th against 10^th in the table. Koeman may have inside knowledge on some of Puel’s players, after working with them before, but his own Everton side blow hot and cold themselves, losing to the likes of Bournemouth and Norwich in the cup while still winning five games in the league. Expect whichever team “turns up” and wants this more to succeed – with home advantage potentially being a deciding factor.
