Everton (Away) – 4 December 2016
Goodison Park has not been a happy hunting ground for United in recent years and defeat for David Moyes against his former club three years ago was the final nail in his Manchester United managerial career. Everton still remain relatively inconsistent under the leadership of Ronald Koeman but they will undoubtedly pick up points from those teams looking to challenge for Champions League football. With that in mind, a victory for United could be the perfect opportunity for Mourinho’s men to make up some of the lost ground on their title rivals and, if they are to truly challenge at the top end of the Premier League, picking up points on the road at venues such as Goodison Park is a must.
