A lot was expected of Granit Xhaka when he joined Arsenal, and so far, it could be said that he has failed to meet those expectations. The Switzerland International has been sent off twice this season and he also hasn’t displayed the impressing passing ability that he showed at EURO 2016.

Xhaka has to make sure he stops Kevin De Bruyne from controlling the midfield to ensure Arsenal contain Pep Guardiola’s side. The Belgian is City’s most creative player this season, having fashioned 74 key opportunities in the Premier League. The winner of this battle could make all the difference when the final whistle blows.
