Christian Benteke – Liverpool

A man who has been linked with West Ham in the media recently, Christian Benteke would undoubtedly be a great signing for the Hammers. The former Aston Villa man has failed to hit the ground running – under two separate managers – during his time at Anfield and it is likely he will leave in the summer in search of more regular playing time.

Where would he fit in?

Most effective when operating in a lone strike role, when balls into the box are aplenty, Benteke would thrive in a West Ham squad bursting with creativity. Arguably a more prolific striker than both Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll – and certainly less injury prone – in his prime, the Belgian would be favourite for a starting role in Slaven Bilic’s side.
