Three goalkeepers Everton should target as his new number one feat. Chelsea star

Asmir Begovic

The most likely of the list, Begovic has been linked with a move to Goodison Park throughout the summer. The Bosnian has seen first team chances limited with Thibaut Courtois occupying the No.1 spot last season and is likely to again this season under Antonio Conte.

Begovic, 29, has a wealth of Premier League experience, since his move to Stoke City in 2010. He moved from Portsmouth where he’d played 11 games in England’s top-flight but went on to make 160 for The Potters.

He moved last summer to Chelsea as Jose Mourinho’s No.2, where he played 17 league games and five times in the Champions League. The Bosnian featured mostly between September to December of last year, after a meniscus tear sidelined his counterpart.

In the 17 league games he played last season, Begovic managed four clean sheets, with an average of 1.63 saves per goal conceded. Per game, he averaged 2.29 saves and had an 89% success rate with claiming the ball.

His statistics were more impressive in the Champions League: in the five games he managed three clean sheets and averaged an impressive 3.33 saves per goal conceded. He did, however, average 2.00 saves per game – less than in the Premier League.

I think the 6’6” ‘keeper would be a good signing for Koeman. His fee would be small and has a lot of experience in the Premier League, although it would not exactly be a long-term move.
