West Ham United have made an extremely slow start to life at the Olympic Stadium. Slaven Bilic’s men have been dumped out of European football before making it to the group stage, and their performances in the bread and butter of the Premier League haven’t been all that convincing. That simply has to change soon if they are to challenge for a top four spot.
The Hammers clearly have an extremely capable squad, spearheaded by the star of the show in Dimitri Payet. Despite that, David Gold and David Sullivan have struggled to attract any real big names to the club – but it wasn’t for the want of trying. They have to persist with what they have, but they do have an excellent set of players to choose from.
