After limping off against Liverpool on the opening day, Arsenal have been without 20-year-old Nigerian winger Alex Iwobi and have missed the creativity and pace of the youngster.

Although Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott have both looked rejuvenated this season, Iwobi seems to possess more calmness in possession and finesse on the pitch. Despite being younger than his two rivals, he is the undoubted first choice winger.

Fit again after his knock, Iwobi’s skill and directness could really unsettle a Southampton defence which hasn’t started well, and he should be brought back in to cause them as many problems as possible.
