Manchester United look set to seal a move for highly-rated teenager Renato Sanches, if reports by the Daily Mail are to be believed. The 18-year-old, who is rated at £46million, could be set to become the latest Portuguese import at Old Trafford, following the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Nani.

Is he worth the risk?

The last time Louis van Gaal took a risk on a relatively unproven youngster, they ended up with the outrageously talented Anthony Martial.A box-to-box midfielder by trade, Sanches’ arrival could bring a new found energy and dynamism in the centre of the park. However, the failure of Anderson to adapt to the Premier League will live fresh in the memory of all United fans.
