Wissam Ben Yedder – Toulouse

Another player who has been linked with a switch to White Hart Lane in recent weeks, Ben Yedder is a player capable of playing the aforementioned bit-part strike role for Tottenham. The Toulouse front-man was heavily linked with a move to Spurs during the January transfer window but negotiations broke down.

Is he a good fit for Tottenham?

The 25-year-old has netted an impressive 16 goals in 33 appearances this term, for the relegation threatened Ligue 1 outfit. A quick-witted customer, who is capable of scoring from both in and outside the box, he is one of the French top flight’s most prolific centre-forwards. Accustomed to playing a lone-role up top, he would represent a direct replacement for Kane whenever called upon.
