It will do down as a season of huge optimism for Tottenham Hotspur, after a mightily impressive season under the loveable Mauricio Pochettino.

The London outfit look set to finish in second-place in the Premier League after an enthralling campaign, thus qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in six years.

The Lilywhites will use the summer months to strengthen ahead of the 2016/17 season, with the hope that they will have what it takes to compete for the Premier League title once more, while also competing on the continental stage.

Whilst it is difficult to envisage Pochettino making any drastic changes in his starting line-up – due to the fantastic potential each of his players has displayed over the past 10 months –  he will undoubtedly strengthen his squad in order to challenge alongside the usual suspects next term.
