Willock is a stage behind in his development than Reine Adelaide and Maitland Niles, and is yet to make an EFL Cup start. He did however, come off the bench to replace the injured Lucas Perez against Reading and was a star for the Under 21s last season bagging six goal in 19 outings. Willock played on the left of Arsenal’s forward line but has a fondness for cutting inside and scoring goals with his favoured right foot. Willock looks a very exciting dribbler, with plenty of tricks up his sleeve to beat opponents in one on one situations. In this respect, he is more like a young Raheem Sterling than young Theo Walcott. That said, there is also a nice simplicity about his game, particularly in his finishing which could lead to comparisons with Marcus Rashford at Manchester United. We think you’ll be hearing a lot more about this 18-year-old in the coming years.
