Former Arsenal star Jack Wilshere has taken his first steps into management, 17 years after his professional career began.
The midfielder retired at just 30, following a string of injuries, with his focus switching towards the coaching side of the game.
There was a spell in the Arsenal academy, before a short stint working in the Norwich City backroom staff.
Now, Wilshere has been announced as the new Luton manager, his first permanent opportunity as a senior head coach.
He has quite a task on his hands to turn their fortunes around after back-to-back relegations, with promotion still expected of the team.
When January rolls around, there may be a chance for the 33-year-old to stock up on some talent, including a few from his former team.
So, with that said, here’s a look at three Arsenal academy stars who could be of interest to Jack Wilshere.

Charles Sagoe Jr
Charles Sagoe Jr is still looking for his big break into senior football after a tough few seasons.
The Arsenal youngster made his full debut in 2023, playing 68 minutes in a 1-0 win over Brentford in the Carabao Cup.
Since then, there have been loan spells at Swansea and Shrewsbury, without much luck.
The 21-year-old is a versatile forward, capable of playing on either wing or as an attacking midfielder.
While he is still searching for some form, playing under a familiar face, such as Wilshere, could offer him a chance to find his feet.
That could prove to be more valuable than playing another few months in the Premier League 2.
Tommy Setford
Goalkeepers can find it tough to gain experience at the top level, with the position often seeing players peak later in their careers.
For Tommy Setford, a loan could help him get that little bit closer to the top.
The 19-year-old was signed by Arsenal in 2024 from Ajax, before he made his senior debut in a Carabao Cup clash with Preston the same season.
Setford has already been involved in the England youth setup and is often the third-choice for the senior team on a matchday.
With the talent behind him and the need to gain some experience, a loan to Luton could prove perfect, though he would be competing with Josh Keeley.

Seb Ferdinand
Seb Ferdinand is another youngster who has plenty of potential, having come through from the under-18s to the under-21s.
The Arsenal academy star often plays on the right flank, but he can also play as a left-winger and as a right-back.
This season is Ferdinand’s second full campaign at under-21s level, with his first professional contract signed last summer.
A move could help him reach the next level, though it remains to be seen if he’s ready for such a step.
