When it comes to midfielders, the French have an almighty amount of players really at the top of the pile. Through the years they’ve spawned the likes of Makelele and Viera, and now don the aforementioned Pogba as well as the less well recognised Kante, Diarra and co. Matuidi is another top class player in the midst of a successful position for the French, and he’s been pivotal to PSG’s success in recent years. Yet another who’s side completed the domestic double last season, Matuidi is accustomed to winning, and he’d sure fit into Chelsea’s midfield well. Defensively solid and again robust, the iron-lunged midfielder would be an instant hit amongst Blues fans.
