Arsenal players have come out in support for England star Bukayo Saka following last night’s Euro 2020 final loss to Italy.
The teenage winger was tasked with taking the fifth and decisive penalty which would have taken England into sudden death. However, Saka’s penalty was saved by Gianluigi Donnarruma.
It was a heartbreaking moment for both England and Arsenal supporters. Up until now, Saka has been ‘Mr. Reliable’ for both club and country.

Yet his crucial penalty being saved in the biggest moment, so far, of Saka’s young career will doubt hurt the youngster. But fans on social media were quick to praise the teenager.
The majority of England and Arsenal fans were quick to praise Saka for what he had achieved this summer with the Three Lions.
The Gunners academy star was key to Gareth Southgate’s side winning the semi-final tie against Denmark. Saka assisted the equalising goal. The winger also was also Man of the Match against the Czech Republic in the group stages.
And numerous Arsenal players on social media came out in support for Saka following the end of the shootout.
Club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and youngster William Saliba both posted to Instagram. The attacker wrote: ‘Proud of you my lil bro!!! This will build your success, you will see.’

Academy star Tyreece John-Jules and Folarin Balogun were also eager to share their support to Saka, with the duo posting on Twitter.
Saka will no doubt recover from this penalty miss. And with the 2022 FIFA World Cup just under 18 months away, the Arsenal star will no doubt develop into a better player and seek redemption when the next major international tournament rolls around.
