Who has been Tottenham’s Player of the Season so far?
That is a very difficult question to answer.
Spurs have been fantastic this term, and there are a number of players who would argue they have been the best of the bunch.
The likes of James Maddison, Micky Van de Ven and Dejan Kulusevski all have cases to make, but speaking on ESPN, Janusz Michallik has claimed that Heung-Min Son has in fact been the best player at Tottenham this term.

Son has been better than Kulusevski
Michallik gave his verdict on the £22m attacker and his season so far.
“The other one was Spurs? Look, I love Kulusevski but this one was hard, especially after the last game and how good he was, it’s not a disagreement, but I think Heung-Min Son. To fill in the shoes of Harry Kane, the guy has nine goals and two assists, we’ve seen this before a couple of seasons ago when he was top scorer along with Mo Salah and he just lost out on assists, that season for me he was the best player in the league, I would give it to him,” Michallik said.
Tough call
It’s really hard to call who has been Spurs’ Player of the Season so far.
In our view, James Maddison was a shoo-in for this honour before his injury, but the way the likes of Son and Kulusevski have consistently performed throughout this season has been brilliant.
Yves Bissouma and Micky Van de Ven also have cases to make, but it really is hard to argue against Son.
The South Korean has been brilliant since transitioning into his number nine role, and his goals have really helped propel Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou this season.
Son has been fantastic this term, and it’s fair to say he has been one of Spurs’ top performers this term if not Tottenham’s very best player.
