According to the print edition of The Sun on Sunday (9th June, page 61), Aston Villa want to sign Tom Bayliss from Coventry City.
Aston Villa have been linked with several players since winning promotion to the Premier League. But now they want to raid West Midlands rivals Coventry.
Bayliss is considered a top talent by Coventry. The Sky Blues have produced several fine players in recent years, including Callum Wilson, Cyrus Christie and James Maddison.
There is a strong belief that Bayliss will be the next off the conveyor belt at Coventry. But Mark Robins’ men face a battle to hold onto Bayliss this summer.

The England U19 international is a central midfielder who likes dribbling with the ball. He is a box-to-box style player who can also operate on the wings.
Despite his young age, the 20-year-old has already played 73 times for Coventry. This included a key role in Coventry’s promotion-winning League Two campaign in 2017/18.
Bayliss has an eye for goal and has already weighed in with nine senior goals, as well as providing seven assists. Here are some tweets from Aston Villa fans discussing this potential signing.
