Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club made an announcement in regards to the new away kit.
What’s the story?
Well, Castore have now released the away shirt ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, but it hasn’t exactly gone down well.
Castore have opted for a black strip, which pays tribute to the club’s rich and proud Govan history, as per the announcement from Rangers.
The black shirt has subtle stripes, and a red collar with an odd white and yellow feature in the centre.
Castore, like they did on the home shirt, have also used gold for their own logo, the club’s badge, and the sponsor.
Have Castore let Rangers down?

Judging by the responses below, the Ibrox faithful really aren’t happy.
The 2021/22 season marks the club’s 150th anniversary, so it would’ve been great if Castore created some iconic shirts for the Scottish giants.
However, unless something memorable is done in the shirts, we doubt the kits alone will live long in the memory based on the reaction.

Hopefully, Castore take note of what the Rangers fans aren’t happy about, and can deliver a better effort in 2022.
For now, let’s see how the Rangers fans on Twitter reacted to the club’s announcement…
