'This is beyond comprehension': Some Arsenal fans rage as reporter posts update on Saliba's future
Arsenal fans are furious as Fabrizio Romano has posted an update on the future of William Saliba at the north London club.
The Sky Italia reporter tweeted that the Gunners board have zero interest in selling Saliba.
However, the outrage from Arsenal fans stems from the claim that the defender was allowed to leave the club for the third time in the first place.
What On Earth Is Going On At Hull City? (2021 Update)
Saliba joined Arsenal in 2019 from Saint-Etienne. However, the centre-back is yet to kick a ball for the senior team.
The youngster’s only playing time with the Gunners has come in friendlies or at U-23 level.
Arsenal are set to sign Ben White from Brighton and Hove Albion this summer, meaning Saliba is once again surplus to requirements.
Moreover, Arsenal fans on social media are fuming about how the club are treating Saliba. Furthermore, most supporters agree that the youngster should be given a chance to impress the Gunners coaching staff in pre-season this summer.
Indeed, Gunners are currently in Scotland to take part in two pre-season friendlies against Hibernian and SPL champions Rangers.
Here’s what some Arsenal fans had to say on Twitter about Fabrizio Romano’s update on the future of Saliba…
Why Arsenal do this is beyond comprehension of high level understanding https://t.co/8Wbtz9aFaC

If Arsenal does not want to give playing time to Saliba at the end of this loan, we must sell him. It is distracting to entertain too many options. https://t.co/C5isGtj7Lo

But they allow him to go on loan when there will only be 2 years left on his deal https://t.co/ACHTEtuW5t

Still don’t understand why a good player being loaned out again and again when avg players like Elneny Willian all got full seasons to prove their salt https://t.co/XBWhVTFF5s

If they did, he wouldn't go on loan again. https://t.co/DxefjebPVO
Matteo Guendouzi has already signed for Marseille this summer. However, unlike Saliba, the midfielder will join the French giants on a permanent deal at the end of the next season.
