‘This is all I ask’: Newcastle fans react as Rafa Benitez leaves China
Newcastle United fans have been getting themselves excited today after reports emerged that Rafa Benitez will leave his role in China with Dalian.
The former Magpies boss brings an end to his Far Eastern adventure, with The Athletic confirming Benitez has agreed to leave via mutual consent.
Of course, that means the Spaniard is potentially back on the market and with Steve Bruce under pressure from a lot of the Toon Army, naturally, talk on Twitter turned to Benitez returning to St James’ Park.

Obviously, Bruce is the man in the managerial hotseat right now but that hasn’t stopped Newcastle fans on social media calling for Mike Ashley to bring Benitez back to replace the current boss.
It’s pretty harsh on Bruce, who is doing his best with what he has. However, the Magpies are in danger of being dragged into a relegation fight and some Newcastle fans are calling for Benitez to be re-appointed.
