Ruben Neves has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal as of late.
The midfielder only moved to Al-Hilal in the summer, but the Gunners are said to be having a look at the £47m man as a January option.
Neves is a talented player as we’ve seen over the past few years in the Premier League with Wolves, and now, a return to England could be on the cards.
Speaking on the Highbury Squad YouTube channel, Kevin Campbell has been discussing the idea of Neves coming to the Emirates, and it’s fair to say he’s a fan of this move.
Campbell says that this move would make perfect sense, and that Neves is a quality midfielder.

Neves could be perfect for Arsenal
Campbell spoke about the former Wolves man.
“We’ve been linked with him for a number of seasons haven’t we? Considering his age and how good he is it’s one that makes perfect sense,” Campbell said.
“He’s young enough, he’s good enough to play a lot of games in there for us. I think this is a good move. Newcastle will try to manouvre something, but this is a good move for a quality midfielder.”
Great addition
Campbell is absolutely right, Neves could be a fantastic addition to this Arsenal side.
He’s Premier League proven, quality on the ball and a great fit for Mikel Arteta’s style of play.
Of course, getting a player on those sorts of wages out of Saudi Arabia won’t be an easy task, but, after six months of earning an obscene amount of cash in the middle-east, perhaps Neves is financially satisfied at this point and ready to take a cut in order to return to playing at the top level.
Keep an eye on this one as Neves could be just what the doctor ordered at Arsenal.
