Arsenal have been linked with a plethora of players since the opening of the transfer window. As reported by the Athletic, the Gunners aim to sign four to five players this summer, with Ben White close to joining.

As per the report, Eddie Nketiah has been offered a new deal with the club, but the England U-21 captain has not accepted this fresh contract. There have been rumours that the striker, as well as Alexandre Lacazette, could leave the north London side this summer.

A striker doesn’t appear to be top of Arsenal’s priorities for the summer, though, with the club keen to sign a creative playmaker and a new right-back.

And this has led to many supporters on social media slam this rumour linking Belotti to the club. With lots of fans against the idea of Arsenal signing a new striker in the window.

Even if Lacazette and Nketiah leave, Arsenal will still have club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Folarin Balogun on the books.

Here’s what some Arsenal fans had to say on Twitter about the club’s interest in Belotti…

Arsenal were poor in front of goal last season. The Gunners scored less than the likes of Leeds United, West Ham and north London rivals Tottenham.
