Theirry Henry delivers Liverpool verdict live on air, blown away by three 'scary' players

Thierry Henry has told Amazon Prime that Liverpool are frightening and if certain players click they could become unstoppable.

The former Premier League champions thrashed Everton 4-1 last night to flex their title credentials.

Mohamed Salah bagged a brace, with Jordan Henderson and Diogo Jota arguably scoring the game’s two best goals.

Jurgen Klopp’s team are looking formidable right now and have tasted defeat just once during 2021/22.

That looks pretty ominous for the rest of the field and former Arsenal star Henry has suggested three players hold the key to success.

He believes that the midfield three of Henderson, Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho are integral to the club’s fortunes going forward.

Henry told Amazon Prime after the game: “The scary thing about that Liverpool side is that Fabinho, Thiago and Henderson have played just three times together. If they start to really click and understand each other I don’t know how you’re going to stop them.”

Klopp’s team suffered terribly with injuries last season, making for a feeble title defence.

This season, however, they look firmly up for the challenge and last night they were in fine form.

The midfield engine room has often been integral to how Klopp likes his teams to play and this season looks like being no different.

Henderson in particular was absolutely mesmerising last night and he looks to be getting better with age.

Thiago and Fabinho are energetic beyond belief and the trio will be a match for any midfield in the league.

The challenge for Klopp is keeping them fit and fresh for the important games and that could prove challenging.

Klopp’s men are on the march and right now, it’s difficult to see who will stop them this season.
