Dejan Kulusevski really seems to be finding his feet in this Tottenham team.
He’s grabbed two goals and two assists in his last four games, and he’s playing with real confidence.
The Swede has been in great form as of late, and this won’t come as a shock to many.
Indeed, speaking on The View from The Lane, Charlie Eccleshare has been discussing Kulusevski’s form, and he says that people at Celtic who he spoke to when Ange Postecoglou was hired tipped Kulusevski and Heung-Min Son to really hit their stride this season, claiming that wingers in Ange Postecoglou’s team were always going to do well.
Kulusevski was tipped to shine
Eccleshare shared what he was told about the £25m man at the beginning of the season.
“On Kulusevski, that thing Ange was saying about him scoring more goals, that’s such an important part of how Ange plays. I remember when he was appointed and people who knew him at Celtic said that so much was about wingers getting on the end of things and they were saying that Son and Kulusevski would fly under him,” Eccleshare said.
More to come
The scary thing is that it feels as though there may still be more to come from Kulusevski.
The winger is, of course, a top player, but at the age of just 23, there’s loads of room for him to grow and improve in the coming months.
Kulusevski is now getting to grips with Postecoglou’s style, and those at Celtic who tipped him to do so well are being proven right.
Kulusevski has rediscovered his best form after a shoddy season last time around, and it’s been an absolute joy to watch the winger strutting his stuff in recent weeks.
Let’s hope that Kulusevski can kick on and continue to grow and improve under Postecoglou.
