Liverpool still have a chance of signing Fabio Carvalho today, according to Sky Sports reporter Craig Slater.
The Reds have recently been linked with the Fulham playmaker, one of the brightest talents in the Championship.
And in the early hours of Monday, it appears that Liverpool’s interest in Carvalho has intensified.

The Sunday World claimed the Anfield outfit has made one last late push to bring the 19-year-old to Merseyside.
Liverpool and Fulham are ready to agree a deal over Carvalho, claimed the report.
However, the final decision rests with the Portugal-born teenager himself.
Carvalho has registered seven goals and three assists in 18 Championship appearances this season.
He also won the EFL Young Player of the Month last August and has won England caps at U16, U17 and U18 level.
Carvalho will be available on a free transfer when his existing deal expires in June.
“Don’t want to deal with a transfer tribunal”
On Monday evening, Slater shared an update on the situation involving Liverpool, Fulham and Carvalho.
“There’s still a chance of Fabio Carvalho joining Liverpool,” he said (31/1, 18:46). “It’s still a fluid situation.
“Liverpool can afford to be cool about this one because they got their principal target Luis Diaz yesterday.
“They got that deal over the line a full day in advance of deadline day.
“They have this £5million offer in place and are prepared to loan Carvalho back to Fulham for the remainder of the season given their promotion charge.

“Is it up to the player now to a certain degree? Does he now have to assess his options.
“There is reported interest from Borussia Dortmund in the summer but if he were to take that option, Fulham would only receive a nominal fee for him.
“Liverpool don’t want to deal with a transfer tribunal setting a fee in the summer, so they want to get a deal done today if possible.
“So you can see the different push-and-pull pressures on that particular deal.”
Marco Silva claimed last week that Carvalho – a player he has called “fantastic” – would not leave Fulham in January.
“Fabio will be with us until the end of the season,” Silva told The Mirror on Friday afternoon. “I would like to see him here for more years.”
However, the reality is, Carvalho’s contract is up in the summer and Liverpool’s purported bid probably represents their best chance of earning a decent fee for him.
And technically speaking, he will be with Fulham until the end of the season based on Slater’s report – just not on their books.
