Arsenal are reportedly eager to sign James Maddison this summer.
Numerous outlets including football.london have been reporting on the Gunners’ interest in the Leicester star.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has spoken to the Arsenal Lounge about the club’s alleged interest in Maddison.
He claims Gunners insiders think the £110,000-a-week ace is perfect for their style of play.

However, Romano also claims he’d be a difficult signing for Arsenal to pull off due to his price tag.
“My feeling on Maddison has always been, talking with people close to Leicester, is that it will be really difficult because the price is so high,” Romano said.
“It will be really, really difficult to sign him this summer.
“It’s true that Arsenal have an interest in the player.
“It’s true that they consider him perfect for their playstyle, so they consider him as a potentially fantastic signing.
“But at the moment it’s complicated with Leicester, so if the conditions change, maybe they can try.
“But at the moment, it’s not an advanced negotiation.”

Football.london reported in June that Leicester would want over £60million for the 24-year-old.
Maddison has made 118 appearances for the Foxes since joining from Norwich in 2018.
The £22.5million signing has registered 27 goals and 20 assists for his club.
Maddison has also won one cap for England and was unlucky not to make the Euro 2020 squad.
