Fikayo Tomori has been linked with a move to Arsenal recently.
The AC Milan defender has long been linked with a return to the Premier League after swapping Stamford Bridge for San Siro, and the £25m man is said to have caught the eye of Arsenal.
Speaking to the official England website, Tomori has been discussing some of his favourite Three Lions players of all-time, and, interestingly, he’s named Bukayo Saka as one of his favourite current players.
Not only did Tomori praise Saka as a player, he stated that he’s actually very close to the winger as a person, claiming that their two families are very close and often talk when they’re at games together.

Tomori spoke about the winger.
“I tried to avoid picking those in the current squad but if I had to mention some of the players, then Bukayo Saka would be one. We both have Nigerian heritage and I don’t think many people know this but our names mean the same thing in Nigerian but are just spelled differently. Every time his dad and my dad meet up at games they always talk,” Tomori said.
Perfect move
Tomori is destined to return to the Premier League one day, and a move to Arsenal could suit him to a tee.
Indeed, not only does his front-footed style of defending suit Mikel Arteta’s system brilliantly, he’ll already know a number of players from England, as well as knowing the likes of Kai Havertz and Jorginho from his time at Chelsea, while he has a particularly close bond with Saka through their families.
Of course, whether or not Arsenal ultimately do make this move for Tomori remains to be seen, but if they do, this move could be very tempting for the defender as he’d suit the team’s style as well as being able to easily gel into the squad.
