Liverpool have reportedly made enquiries over English playmaker James Maddison.
The Daily Star have claimed the Leicester City ace is on the radar of the Reds, as well as Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Maddison enjoyed a very good debut Premier League campaign in 2018/19, making 38 appearances and scoring seven goals and making seven assists in all competitions.
He has quickly repaid the club’s faith in him after they shelled out about £20 million to sign him from Norwich City last summer (BBC Sport).
The Star say Leicester value Maddison at around £60 million now, which would suggest a move to Anfield as being unlikely.

It has been reported previously that the Reds will not be spending big this summer after their huge outlay in 2018, but a move for Maddison can’t be ruled out as player sales could offset any potential fee.
Liverpool fans react
Fans seem to be fairly divided about the idea of the club spending around £60 million on Maddison.
Several believe the player is a great talent who could flourish under Jurgen Klopp, but others reckon the price would simply be too high after one season in the English top flight.
